This 3 Days Wildlife Safari takes you to Murchison Falls National Park in north Eastern Uganda, the largest conservation area in the country. The park derives its name from the mighty Murchison Falls, that are formed when the River Nile squeezes itself through a narrow gorge thus forming the thunderous falls. Murchison Falls National Park is one of the best places to enjoy game viewing in Uganda. Some of the animals that travelers seek for from the park include giraffes, lions. buffaloes, hippos, elephants, antelopes etc.

Trip Itinerary

Day 1: Kampala – Murchison Falls National Park

After Breakfast at the Hotel, you will be picked from your residence and drive or fly to Murchison Falls National Park Masindi district in north western Uganda. The park is about 300 kilometers by road from Kampala – Uganda’s capital city. You will have lunch on arrival and later go for an afternoon siesta where the driver/guide will help you spot a plethora of wildlife. This may include Buffalos, elephants, lions, leopards, giraffes, kobs, Impalas among others. Various birds might be spotted too, like the hornbills, bee-eaters, kingfishers and storks, Egyptian plover, Chestnut crowned sparrow weaver, Rock pranticole, Red winged grey warbler, Pulvus illadopsis among others. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge

Day 2: Game drive and a Launch cruise

Early Breakfast, go for a game drive, and return for lunch. In the afternoon get on a boat to the bottom of the falls where the waters of the majestic Nile River squeeze through a narrow gorge, only 7 metres wide, before plunging 43 metres below. You might also spot crocodiles, Hippos, elephants and many others while on the boat. You can also hike to the top of the falls. Dinner and overnight at the lodge

Day 3: Murchison Falls National Park – Kampala

Early breakfast, drive back to Kampala. You will have a stopover en-route at the equator for picture moments and souvenir shopping. You will then be dropped back in Kampala or airport.
