6 Days Uganda Safari Adventure
Day 1: Kampala – Bwindi, Uganda
After breakfast at your Hotel in Kampala, you will meet with our tour guide who will drive you south west to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. You will have a lunch en-route in Mbarara and then proceed to reach Bwindi in the late afternoon. Depending on the time of arrival you will do a community walk. Dinner and overnight at Buhoma community Bandas for Budget
Day 2: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Forest
After breakfast you will transfer to the park headquarters for the briefing by the park guides, before you set off for the trek. The trek has no fixed duration time as it depends on the last night of where the apes slept from however it may be 2-9 hours depending on the movement of the giant primates. The activity is tiresome; it involves walking along steep hilly tracks however encountering these great relatives of man erases all the poor memories/ hardships you went through in trying to find them. They are awe-inspiring! Dinner and overnight at as above.
Day 3: Queen Elizabeth National Park
Morning breakfast, Drive through the Ishasha sector to Queen Elizabeth National Park after, lunch en-route, enjoy the drive in the Ishasha sector while spotting out the tree climbing lions. Expect animals like the tree climbing lions, antelopes, elephants and others. You will reach in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight at Simba safari camp for Budget.
Day 4: Game Drive and Boat ride
Early morning wake up take tea and then set off for a game drive in the Kasenyi sector and Queens Mile. The drive through the park will reward you with game like Lions. Elephants, leopards, hyenas, warthogs, bush pigs, white stripped jackal, bush bucks and others. You will then return to the lodge for lunch to go for a boat ride in the afternoon. You will go for a cruise on the Kazinga channel that connects lakes Edward and Kyoga for game like, Hippos buffaloes and plenty of birds Both Migrant and residents. Dinner and overnight as above.
Day 5: Game drive and transfer back to Kampala
You will have an early morning game drive and after you will have a late breakfast. Then transfer back to Kampala. Lunch en-route, you will arrive in the evening. Dinner and overnight stay at Cassia Lodge/or your Lodge.
Day 6: Visit Jinja, The Source of the Nile, Bujjagali Falls & Sezibwa Falls,
After Breakfast at the Lodge, you will transfer to Jinja District in Eastern Uganda. Make a stopover at Mabira forest for some picnic break. Proceed to Jinja reaching the source of the Nile. Take a boat trip to the source of the Mighty Nile River which is the spot where the River starts its long journey to the Mediterranean Sea in Egypt. While at the source get a chance to view different species of birds especially the kingfisher. You will also be transferred to Bujagali Falls and see where white water rafting starts, along the mighty River Nile. Return back to Kampala with a brief stop at Sezibwa Falls and have a look at the River which is said to be borne by a human being.
Proceed to Kampala reaching in time for dinner and overnight stay at your Lodge in Kampala.
