5 Days Tanzania Camping Safari – Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro and Serengeti
Day 1: to L. Manyara
Our safari driver will pick you up from your hotel after breakfast at 8:00 am and drive you to Lake Manyara national park. Have a game drive as you enter the park. After lunch have an afternoon game viewing drive in the park. You may see animals like tree-climbing lions, hippos, baboons, tree climbing lions, buffalo, elephants, hippos, klipspringer, dik-dik, monkeys, giraffes and native bird species like flamingos, pelicans, storks and cormorants. Dinner and overnight at the camp.
Day 2: to Ngorongoro crater
After breakfast, leave Lake Manyara for Ngorongoro crater arriving in time for a picnic lunch at a designated spot on the crater floor. After lunch a game drive in the park will give you opportunities to view black manned lion, the highly endangered black rhino, wildebeest, zebra, elephant, hippo, jackal, and hyena. Dinner and overnight at Camp.
Day 3: to Serengeti
Leave Ngorongoro crater via the Olduvai Gorge museum. Have lunch at the Olduvai Gorge museum. Tour the gorge to see the place where remains of the pre- historic man were discovered by the famous archeologist Dr. L. S. B. Leakey. Proceed to Serengeti via Seronera and Lobo. Have a game drive on arrival in the park. Dinner and overnight at the camp.
Day 4: to Ndutu woodlands
Leave Lobo for Ndutu with game viewing in Serengeti and around Ndutu woodlands to locate Leopards and numerous plains games as well as Cheetahs, common species here. Dinner and overnight at Camp.
Day 5: to Arusha
After breakfast have a short game drive as you exit the park. Drive to Arusha via Mto wa Mbu Village for shopping of Makonde Carvings and other souvenirs. You will be transferred to your Arusha hotel ending your safari.
