Trip Itinerary
Day 1: Arusha – Ngorongoro Crater, Tanzania
You will be picked from your lodge or residence and drive to Ngorongoro National Park. The drive takes about 4 hours. Ngorongoro National Park is located 180 km in Arush Region in Tanzania and covers an area of about 8,292 km2. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site Ngorongoro Crater, a large volcanic caldera within the area, is recognized by as one of the seven natural wonders of Africa.There is also the Olduvai Gorge a steep-sided ravine in the Great Rift Valley, which stretches along eastern Africa.
Have lunch on arrival and in the afternoon go for a game drive where you will spot animals like the black rhinoceros, the hippopotamus, the wildebeest, Burchell’s zebra, eland, Lions, Grant’s, Thomson’s gazelles, Waterbuck, Cheetah, Buffalos, African wild dog and leopard. Dinner and overnight at the lodge
Day 2: Drive to Lake Manyara
After breakfast you will head for Lake Manyara National Park which is about 330 sq km in size. Arrive in time for lunch after go for a game drive where you will spot animals like baboons, blue monkeys, buffalo, wildebeest , giraffes, zebra, tree-climbing lions, Klipspringer and Kirk’s dik-dik forages and various bird species like the forest hornbills, pink-hued flamingos, pelicans, cormorants and storks among others
Day 3: Lake Manyara – Arusha, Tanzania
After breakfast drive back to Arusha, you will be dropped off at a place of your choice in Arusha town.
