4-Day Kruger Park and Manyeleti
Overview
Day 1 – Collect you in Johannesburg at 630 am, transfer to Hoedspruit. Sunset game drives into the night at Manyeleti and dinner and accommodation at Bongan African Lodge. Day 2 – Full-day game drive in Kruger Park. Bush breakfast included. Day 3 – Have an early 4-hour game drive, then breakfast at Bongan African Lodge, a cultural village tour OR a full-day game. Day 4 – Have an early morning game drive and breakfast At Bongan African Lodge. Transfer to Johannesburg at 630 pm.
Detailed itinerary
Day 1
Manyeleti Sunset /Night Drive
The driver/guide will pick you up in Johannesburg at 630 am. Transfer to Hoedspruit. After lunch (at your own cost), we’ll proceed to your first overnight accommodation at Bongan African Lodge in an African village near the Manyeleti Reserve. Upon arrival, you will check into your chalets, where you can relax. Your first official safari experience will commence shortly after settling into your accommodation—the sunset drive. Enjoy as the last rays of the gorgeous light bathe the African bushveld in vivid reds, yellows, and pinks (Hint: the lighting will add a romantic element to your photographs!). The sunset drive allows you the unique experience of spotting some nocturnal creatures that ordinarily are hidden during the day—The game drive continues into the night. Watch out for eyes glowing in the dark! Return to the Bongan African Lodge for a Delicious dinner Have your overnight stay in your comfortable chalet.
Day 2
Kruger Park Full-Day Game Drive in an Open Vehicle
Set those alarms for a bright and early! It’s time for your safari experience in the Kruger National Park. Starting from Orpen Gate in Kruger and driving through the central areas of Kruger Park. Your guide will show you the varied fauna and flora of this magnificent wildlife paradise. The open-sided game vehicle (with added elevation and absence of windows) allows for excellent viewing and photographic opportunities. Please keep your eyes peeled for our famous Big Five (lion, leopard, rhino, elephant and buffalo). Dinner will be served from 7:30 pm in the Bongan boma.
Day 3
Morning Game Drive and Cultural Village Tour
Your guide will take you on an early 4-hour game drive around the game reserve. Breakfast will be served at Bongan African Lodge. A late morning siesta is also a popular option.
After lunch, we can explore the village’s cultures. One can also visit the African Sangoma. There is an option to skip the village excursion and do a full-day game drive in Kruger Park. Dinner will be served at Bongan African Lodge, and you will enjoy your overnight in chalets.
Day 4
Manyeleti Morning Game Drive and Transfer to Hoedspruit
Have an early game drive in Manyeleti / Kruger Park. After breakfast at 10:00 am, we’ll transfer you to your shuttle service in Hoedspruit.
