This 4 Days Uganda safari is a Road trip to Kidepo Valley National Park in North Eastern Uganda. This is one of the best savanna national parks in Uganda. Hosting incredible wildlife, this is one of the best places to enjoy game viewing in Uganda. The park is the only place where cheetahs can be seen in Uganda. Other unique attractions are the Ostritches and the Ik People of Mount Morungule. Some of the interesting wildlife to see within park are  giraffes, lions, buffaloes, elephants, antelopes etc.

Trip Itinerary

Day 1: Kampala – Kidepo National Park

Breakfast, be picked from your residence and drive to Gulu. You will do a short city tour in Gulu town. Dinner and overnight at the lodge or hotel

Day 2: Drive to Kidepo National Park

After breakfast you will drive to Kidepo Valley National Park is located in the north-eastern corner of Uganda along the international frontier with South Sudan in Kaabong District. It is 1,442 square kilometres in size. It hosts over 86 mammal species and about 500 bird species. Have lunch on arrival. In the afternoon go for a game drive where you will spot lions, cheetah, leopard, bat-eared fox, giraffe, striped hyena, aardwolf, caracal, lesser kudu, Chandlers Mountain reedbuck, klipspringer, dikdik and bright gazelle, Beisa Oryx and roan antelope among others. Dinner and overnight at the lodge

Day 3: Full Day Game Viewing

You will go for a full day of game viewing and have picnic lunch and you may visit the local communities too and enjoy the culture and the local food. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 4: Kidepo – Kampala

Early breakfast, drive back to the airstrip and fly back to Kampala. Drop off will be at a place of your choice in Kampala or at the airport for your departure flight.
