7 Days Tanzania Safari
Day 1: Drive to Lake Manyara
After breakfast you will head for Lake Manyara National Park which is about 330 sq km in size. Arrive in time for lunch after go for a game drive where you will spot animals like baboons, blue monkeys, buffalo, wildebeest , giraffes, zebra, tree-climbing lions, Klipspringer and Kirk’s dik-dik forages and various bird species like the forest hornbills, pink-hued flamingos, pelicans, cormorants and storks among others
Day 2: Arusha to Serengeti National Park
Breakfast, drive to Serengeti National Park. It is about 14,763 sq km in size.
It is Tanzania’s oldest and most popular national park, and is a world heritage site too. It is well known for its annual migration, when more than 200,000 zebra and 300,000 Thomson’s gazelle join the wildebeest’s trek for fresh grazing. Arrive in time for lunch, after lunch go for a game drive where you will spot animals like the buffalo, elephant, giraffe, eland, topi, kongoni, impala, Grant’s gazelle, lion, leopards, cheetahs, spotted hyena, aardwolf and the serval cat and various bird species. Dinner and overnight at the lodge
Day 3: Full day game drive
Breakfast, go for a full day of game viewing, you will have picnic lunch or have lunch at the lodge and later go for an afternoon game drive. You may also visit the Olduvai Gorge and other places of interest. Dinner and overnight at the lodge
Day 4: serengeti – Ngorongoro Crater, Tanzania
You will be picked from the lodge and drive to Ngorongoro National Park. Ngorongoro National covers an area of about 8,292 km2. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site Ngorongoro Crater, a large volcanic caldera within the area, is recognized by as one of the seven natural wonders of Africa.There is also the Olduvai Gorge a steep-sided ravine in the Great Rift Valley, which stretches along eastern Africa.
Have lunch on arrival and in the afternoon go for a game drive where you will spot animals like the black rhinoceros, the hippopotamus, the wildebeest, Burchell’s zebra, eland, Lions, Grant’s, Thomson’s gazelles, Waterbuck, Cheetah, Buffalos, African wild dog and leopard. Dinner and overnight at the lodge
Day 5: full day game viewing
Breakfast, go for a full day of game viewing, you will have picnic lunch or have lunch at the lodge and later go for an afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at the lodge
Day 6: Ngorongoro to Tarangire National Park
Breakfast, drive to Tarangire National Park. It is about 2850 sq km in size. You will arrive, have lunch and go for a game drive. You might spot animals like elephants, migratory wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, impala, gazelle, hartebeest and eland, fringe-eared oryx, gerenuk, pythons, lions and leopards. And for keen birders they will see various bird species. Dinner and overnight at the lodge
Day 7: Tarangire – Arusha, Tanzania
After breakfast drive back to Arusha, you will be dropped off at a place of your choice in Arusha town.
