2 Days Akagera National Park Tour Rwanda
Day 1: Akagera national park
Meet and greet our driver/guide at Kigali International airport. After lunch you will have a two and a half hour ride to the east of Rwanda to Akagera national park bordering Tanzania. An evening game drive in the park may be well rewarded with view of elephants, impala, oribi, bushbuck, antelope, zebra, cape eland, giraffe, buffalo, hippo and crocodiles. If you are lucky visitor you may even come across a spotted hyena, lion or leopard. Have dinner and retire for the night at Akagera lodge or Umbrella Pine.
Day 2: Canoe Ride
After an early breakfast, a canoe ride on the Lake Ihema may reward you with the view of large pods of hippos, out-sized crocodiles and some of the continent’s densest concentrations of water birds like the papyrus Gonolek, shoebill stork and African fish eagle. Have lunch after which you will be transferred to Kigali International airport to meet and catch your flight ending your safari.
