Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer to Samburu National Park
After a fully served breakfast at your Hotel in Nairobi, you will be picked up by our company guide who will transfer you to Samburu National Park in the north passing through the dramatic semi-arid scrubland of the Northern Frontier. you will arrive in time for lunch after which, you will enjoy the afternoon game drive and look out for animals like Reticulated Giraffe, Gravy’s Zebra, Beisa Oryx and the Blue-necked Somali Ostrich and many more. Dinner and overnight at Samburu Lodge/Campsite.
Day 2: Full day Samburu Exploration
Have early morning breakfast and depart with your packed lunch for a full day exploration in one of the world’s most spectacular and exciting terrain. Look out for animals that you missed out in the previous game drive. Dinner and overnight as above at the Lodge/Campsite
Day 3: Transfer to Sweetwater’s Rhino sanctuary
After breakfast, you will depart for Sweetwater’s which is commonly known as a Rhino Sanctuary on Ol Pejeta Ranch. The area provides magnificent views across the plains to the snow-capped peaks of Mt Kenya. You will have Lunch and after, enjoy an afternoon game drive. The sanctuary also has some chimpanzees and hence chimpanzee tracking is also commonly a practiced activity here. Dinner and overnight at the camp.
Day 4: Transfer to Lake Nakuru National Park
Have an early morning breakfast and after depart for Nakuru National Park arriving in time for lunch. After lunch, you will go for the evening game drive in the park. The park also provides a sanctuary for the rhino and apart from that, it has always been considered a flamingo lake. Dinner and overnight at a lodge /Campsite over looking the lake.
Day 5: Morning game drive and transfer back to Nairobi
Wake up early for the morning game drive to search for the other animals you missed out in the previous game drives, later return back to the Lodge for breakfast after which, you will transfer back to Nairobi arriving in the early afternoon. Drop off will either be at the Hotel in Nairobi or at the Airport depending on your flight departure time
