Masai Mara Tour & Kenya Lakes Safari - 7 Days

Day 1: Transfer to Masai Mara
After breakfast at the Hotel in Nairobi, you will depart for Masai Mara driving along the floor of the rift valley which provides good scenic views.  You will arrive in time for lunch, Have lunch at your lodge and later transfer for the evening game drive. Return back to the Lodge for dinner and overnight at your lodge, Mara Simba Lodge/Mara Sopa Lodge. (FB)

Day 2: Full day in Masai Mara
Have Breakfast in the morning at the Lodge, depart with your packed lunch for a full day game drives searching for big cats animals such as Elephants, lions, leopards, Buffaloes and so on. Later on venture towards the Mara River to look for hippo pools, giant crocodiles and the world famous crossing point for the wildebeests. Return back to the lodge for a rest in the evening before having your dinner and overnight stay (FB).

Day 3: Transfer to Lake Nakuru National Park
After breakfast in Masai Mara, you will leave for Nakuru arriving in time for lunch. You will check in at the Lodge, have lunch and in the afternoon set out for the game drive. Look out for the famous flamingoes, lions, buffalos, waterbucks, warthogs and hippos. The Lake also has a Rhino sanctuary where you will be able to see the rhinos.  Dinner and overnight at Lake Nakuru Lodge (FB).

Day 4: Transfer to Lake Baringo
After breakfast at your Lodge, you will transfer to Lake Baringo which is the threshold of Northern Kenya, and its freshwaters are an oasis in the arid plains. The lake is a traditional home of the tribe called Njemp. This tribe is very unique and their major activity is pastralism and fishing. Upon arrival, you will take a boat ride and cross to Baringo islands for a short walk in the forest. You will be able to see hippos in the lake from the boat. Dinner and overnight at the campsite.

Day 5: Transfer to Lake Bogoria
After breakfast, head to Lake Bogoria which is commonly famous as the Jewel of the Great Rift Valley. The Lake is also known for its hot sulphur water. You will have some birding here and look out for birds like Woodland Kingfisher, Northern white-headed buffalo weaver, Rufous crowned roller and so on. Dinner and overnight at the campsite by the lake

Day 6: Transfer to Lake Naivasha
Morning breakfast will start your day and then later transfer to Naivasha national park reaching in time for Lunch. Check in at the lodge and later go for the afternoon boat ride on the Lake to the crescent Island. Dinner and overnight and Lake Naivasha Country Club/Campsite
 
Day 7: Transfer Back to Nairobi
After breakfast, you will drive to Elsamere Conservation Center where you will be given a lecture of Joy Adamson’s history. Return to Nairobi after lunch. Drop off will be at your Hotel in Nairobi.
