Day 1: Arrival
You will be met at the airport by our driver or tour guide and he will transfer you to a hotel in Nairobi for dinner and overnight stay at Holiday Inn Hotel.

11 Days Birding Safari in Kenya

Day 2: Transfer to Lake Naivasha
After breakfast, depart for Lake Naivasha. Stop enroute at the Great Rift Valley for the stunning views and scenic beauty. You will arrive in Lake Naivasha by lunchtime. The Lake is home to a variety of bird species. Over 400 species have been recorded here. Afternoon can be spent while birding around the lake. Dinner and overnight at private campsite.

Day 3: Transfer to Lake Nakuru
After, depart for Lake Nakuru National Park, the park is a world heritage site commonly known as a bird and rhino sanctuary. The park is famous also for its pink flamingoes. Arrive in time for lunch after which you will have an afternoon game drive follows. This will allow you to see the many wild animals in the park. You will also be taken to a cliff view point overlooking the lake. Dinner and overnight at Sarova Lion Hill Lodge/Campsite.

Day 4: Full day birding in Lake Nakuru
Have breakfast and then set out for a full day birding in Lake Nakuru. the park also hosts birdlife such as the two interesting ducks, the cape pigeon a lover of blackish waters, and the stiff tailed maccoa duck, blacksmith plover, spurwing plover, crowned plover, kittliz’s plover, birds of prey includes, lanner, long crested eagle, augur buzzard, red-chested cuckoo, lillac breasted roller, grey headed kisher and bronzy and variable sunbirds. Dinner and overnight at Lake Nakuru Lodge or Similar

Day 5: Transfer to Aberdare in the highland region of Kenya
After breakfast, you will leave for Aberdare Country Club which is found in the highland region of Kenya. This place has hundreds of species of birds. You will arrive in time for lunch and later you will go for birding in the area in the afternoon. Return for dinner and overnight at Aberdare Country Club.

Day 6: Transfer to Mountain Kenya safari club
After a fully served breakfast, you will depart for Mount Kenya Safari Club where you will arrive in time for lunch. The mountain is surrounded by forests which has different trails where one can pass so as to see different bird species in the forest. You will go for birding in the afternoon in the forest. Look out for birds like Olive & Bronze napped pigeons, Silvery Cheeked hornbills, Ruppels Robin Chat, White-starred Forest Robin, Mountain Greenbul, Stuhlmans sterling and may be Vereaux Eagle. Return for dinner and overnight at Mountain Kenya Safari Club.

Day 7. Transfer to Masai Mara Game reserve
After a fully served breakfast, head out for Masai Mara game reserve which is the finest reserve in East Africa with all the Big Five animals like the Black Rhino , Elephant, Lion, Cheetah, Leopard, Zebra, Wild beast, Heartbeast, Topi, Eland, Thompson and Grant Gazelles and many more. Birds include the Open -billed Storks, Temminck’s Courser, Yellow-throated Sangrouse, Usambiro Barbet and Denham’s Bustard. Dinner and overnight at a campsite.

Day 8 : Full day Masai Mara
Have Breakfast in the morning at the Lodge, depart with your packed lunch for a full day game drives searching for big cats animals such as Elephants, lions, leopards, Buffaloes and so on. Later on venture towards the Mara River to look for hippo pools, giant crocodiles and the world famous crossing point for the wildebeests. Return back to the lodge for a rest in the evening before having your dinner and overnight stay (FB).

Day 9: Depart for Amboseli National Park
After breakfast, depart for Amboseli National Park. The Park is located at the foot of the magnificent Mount Kilimanjaro. The park has a large population of elephants. Other animals to be seen here are buffalo, lion, gazelle, cheetah, wildebeest, hyena, jackal, Masai giraffe and zebra. Arrive in time for lunch and after have an afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at Tortilis Camp.

Day 10: Full Day at Amboseli
After an early morning breakfast, you will head for the game drive and look out for more big game animals like elephants, lions and cheetah. You will have lunch and leisure break at the lodge then return for an evening game drive in an area where the landscape is dominated by glistening majestic snow cap of Kilimanjaro a fitting back drop to a wild region where the pastoral Masai and their cattle have lived in harmony with wild creatures for many centuries. Dinner and overnight at the Lodge

Day 11: Return back to Nairobi
Early in the morning head out for the last game drive in the park. Later depart the park and head for Nairobi with your lunch en route. You will arrive in the evening for dinner and overnight stay at your Hotel in Nairobi or will be transferred to the Airport for your flight back Home (Depending on the time of your flight).
