 3 Days Murchison Falls National Park

Over view
This is a 3 days wildlife safari in Murchison Falls national park, Uganda’s largest park. This is one of the most scenic places to see in Uganda. The park hosts a great range of wildlife including lions, crocodiles, giraffes, elephants, leopards, buffaloes, etc. Enjoy game viewing and marvel on the Nile, the second longest river in the world on this adventurous trip! The safari starts in Kampala and ends in Kampala. It is approximately 311KM from Kampala city which is about 5 hours drive in a 4WD Vehicle.

Tour Itinerary

Day 1, Depart from Kampala to Murchison Falls NP, Nature walk to the top of the falls.         
Meet with our driver guide at your Hotel and depart for Murchison falls national park via Luweero- Nakasongola to Masindi. Enroute make a stopover at the Luweero triangle. Proceed to Masindi town reaching Masindi hotel in time for lunch. After lunch go to Murchison falls National Park for an evening Nature walk to the top of the falls. Go to Red Chill camp/ Paraa Safari lodge/ Sambiya safari lodge/ Nile safari lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2, Game Viewing and Launch cruise
Early in the morning go for an early morning game drive in the Northern part of Murchison falls national park.  In this cool morning before the sun rises too high , you may be able to see herds of Buffaloes, Elephants, Rothschild’s giraffe, prides of lions,  leopard,  Oribis, Hartebeests, and many more.
Come back for lunch at the camp/lodge and in the afternoon take a launch cruise along the Victoria Nile to the bottom of the falls, watch families of Hippos relaxing by the Nile bank, Nile crocodiles while incubating their eggs, and also as lots of birds. You may also have a glance on the rare shoebill stork. Return for dinner and overnight stay at Red Chill camp/ Paraa safari lodge/ Sambiya safari lodge/ Nile safari lodge.
                                                                                                                                  
Day 3, Chimpanzee tracking and drive back to Kampala
Early in the morning go for chimpanzee tracking in Kaniyo Pabidi forest. You may see a lot of chimpanzees, primates such as the monkeys and a lot of bird species. Proceed with the journey and return to Kampala reaching in the evening. Dinner and overnight at your Hotel
