2 Days Uganda Flying safari to Queen Elizabeth National Park, Uganda’s second largest protected area . Located on the savannah plains below the Rwenzoris, the park protects the great game of Africa including elephants, lions, buffaloes, a profusion of hippos, elusive giant forest hogs and leopards among others. On a safari through this park, these animals are regularly sighted around the tourist village of the Mweya Peninsula - which also boasts a marvelous waterfront setting in the shadow of the Rwenzori Mountains. The park as well hosts 100 mammal species and a remarkable 606 bird species. From the Kazinga channel a launch cruise enables tourists to see different birds, thousands of hippos, solitary buffaloes and other animals that come for a drink on the Kazinga channel.

TOUR ITINERARY

Day 1: Entebbe Airport to Queen Elizabeth
Depart from your Hotel in Kampala Sheraton to Entebbe Airport. Fly over crater lakes, lot of Climbing Lionbanana plantations and tea estates before catching a good photographic sight seeing of the rift valley and the park. View the tectonic collapse of the earth that formed the Rift Valley and on clear days the peaks of Rwenzoris snow capped mountains (mountains of the moon). Arrive in time for the scheduled boat cruise in the afternoon on Kazinga Channel that connects two lakes of Lake Edward and George. View schools of hippos in the channel, a lot of game including elephant, buffalo, antelopes, the Uganda cob etc and plenty of bird life. Over 600 species have been recorded here and is the highest ever recorded in any other park in the world.
This evening  you will take a game drive to the Kasenyi track in the mating grounds looking for lion leopard, elephant, antelope, Uganda kobs, hyena, and many more game and bird life. Dinner and overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge or Mweya Hostel.


Day 2: Mweya to Kanjasi or Entebbe
Before boarding your charter flight you will go for a morning game drive expect to  see a lot of game that may include the rare and elusive leopard, lion, elephant buffalo spotted hyena different antelope species-bush buck, topis, sitatunga and seeing the different savannah grassland species of trees and plenty of birds. Return to your place of stay for late breakfast. Fly to Entebbe.
