TOUR ITINERARY

Day 1: Kajjansi -Pakuba Airstrip  
With the help of our company representative, you will be picked from you Hotel and transfer Antelopeto Kajjansi to meet your private charter plane to Pakuba Airstrip in Murchison Falls National Park. On arrival at Pakuba, you will be welcomed by your safari guide who will transfer you for game viewing along the way to Paraa safari lodge. Murchison falls National Park derived its name from the Murchison falls where the mighty River Nile explodes through a narrow gorge and flows down to become a placid river whose banks are thronged with hippos, crocodiles, waterbucks and buffaloes. The vegetation is characterized by Savannah, riverine forest and woodland. Wild life includes lions, Uganda kobs, chimpanzees and many bird species including the rare shoebill.
After checking in and having sometime to relax, you will go for an afternoon boat trip along the Nile. This is often cited as being the highlight of a trip to Murchison since it allows you to get up-close and personal with the animals. Along this stretch of the river, there are reported to be around 4,000 hippos in addition to some enormous Nile crocodiles. The bird life is stunning with brightly colored kingfishers and bee-eaters darting along the riverbanks. If lucky, you may see the rare and prehistoric looking shoebill, which is a cross between the dodo and a dinosaur. The boat takes you to the base of the falls which only adds to their impressiveness.

Day 2: Chimp trekking and game drive
 After breakfast, we will go for a morning Chimpanzee tracking in Kaniyo Pabidi Forest. This is an undisturbed area of natural forest within Budongo Forest Reserve where you can walk beneath mature mahogany and iron wood trees. Chimpanzee tracking is the most famous activity. You will certainly see many forest birds, including the chocolates-backed Kingfisher, the white-thigh hornbill and puvel's illadopsis found nowhere else in East Africa.
In the afternoon, you will relax by the side of the pool and should you have the energy this afternoon, your guide will take you for a late afternoon game drive. Among the creatures you should see are Rothschild giraffe, buffalo, lion, elephant as well as several species of antelope.

Day 3: Morning cup of coffee and transfer Pakuba Airstrip to meet your private charter plane to Entebbe International Airport.
