Uganda Flying Safari to Kidepo Valley National Park

The park has attracted over 80 mammalian species with about 28 of them being not found in any other Ugandan National park. These include Carcal, Bat-eared Fox, Klipspringers, and Cheetahs. Other mammals include Elephants, Common Zebras, Buffaloes, Bohor Reedbucks, Waterbucks and Kongoni, Spotted Hyenas, Leopards and Lions, Oribis, Guenther's Dik Dik, Senegal Galagos, Side striped Jackals among others.

TOUR ITINERARY

You will fly from Kajansi airstrip to Kidepo National Park.  Kidepo harbours scenery unsurpassed in any other park in East Africa. Sites to look out for include; the mountain and savannah of the park that is spectacular, the Narus valley in south west of the park; the rugged Napore-Nyagea mountain range that forms its western boundary. You will reach the park in the afternoon and then go for an evening game drive Dinner and overnight at Apoka Rest Camp (FB).

Day:  2 &3: Game Viewing Safari
Morning and evening game drive or an excursion to a Karamajong village (by prior arrangement). Kidepo National Park is home to a total of 86 mammal species, with approximately 460 bird species and five different primate species.You may see the  less common antelopes such as the greater and Lesser Kudu, Chandlers Mountain Reedbuck, Klipspringers, dikdik, Cape Buffalo, bush elephant, burchell’s zebra, bushbuck, bush pig, wartthog, Rothschild giraffe, eland, Jackson’s hartebeest and oribi. Lastly are the five species of primates are found in the park of which the Kavironod bush baby is endemic. Apoka Rest Camp (FB).

Day 4: Game drive – fly EBB
Pre morning game derives break fast, lunch and fly to Entebbe (HB).
