Uganda Flying Tour (5 Days Chimpanzee Trekking Trip)

5 Days Uganda Flying Safari to Kibale forest and Semuliki forest national park.

TOUR ITINERARY

Day 1: Fly Kasese
You will be transferred   to Kanjansi airstrip to find your flight to Kasese. You will fly over the mountains of the moon to view snow capped peaks of Stanley and Magherita on a clear day. See the various twisty roads heading to Semliki, the Rwenzori Mountains, rift valley, Bakonjo homesteads and the Sempaya Hot springs over head. Land next to Semuliki Safari Lodge. You will then go for a night game drive to look out for nocturnal animals and nightjars which are rare to see during the day.

Day 2: Chimp trekking in Kibale Forest
An early morning drive to Sempaya hot springs and continue to Kibale Park headquarters at Kanyanchu. Embark on Chimpanzee tracking, you should also be able to see other primates like the Red colobus monkeys, white and black monkeys, pottos and bush babies in the later afternoon visit Bigodi swamp an Eco tourism site to see a lot of bird life. Dinner and over night at Mantana luxury camp/ Ndali Lodge / Kayankyu or Nyinabulitwa country Resort.

Day 3: Tour Lake Albert, Western Uganda
After breakfast visit local fishing villages on Lake Albert, Take boat ride on this lake viewing a lot of bird species and may yield shoe bill stork. Afternoon will be at leisure.

Day 4: Community Nature Walk
Morning carryout nature walk that will provide you with opportunities of primates including baboons and monkeys. Visit the Batwa communities who used to occupy this national park but now resettled to lead a normal life. You will then be transferred to the airstrip for your next flight back to Kajansi or Entebbe.
