OUR SAFARI GUIDES 

Our safari guides are well exposed and very knowledgeable on all the tour destinations in Uganda, Rwanda, Kenya, Tanzania, Botswana. All guides are fluent in the English language and possess excellent communication skills. Our safari guides are very instrumental and flexible thus adjust to any situation at hand. The management has carefully recruited outgoing and amiable personalities for this particular job. All guides have been fully trained to handle emergencies and provide ready solutions to clients in case of any mishaps on the tour. Most importantly our safari guides have in depth knowledge of both flora and fauna in all destination countries. A safari experience with one of our safari guides will indeed be memorable.

OUR STAFF 

The company has employed well trained personnel in tour and travel operations as its staff. The staff comprises of permanent and support staff that comes in when there is a work overload; (these are on call 24 hours to alleviate the pressure on the permanent workers). The permanent staff is comprised of a team of nine (9) and has experience in customer care services, which is second to none. 

The group at the top is headed by a very influential Managing Director who is very industrious in the travel industry. The company is divided into subsections to see to its’ smooth operation which includes: the operations department, Sales and Marketing and the secretarial section. This arrangement has enabled Cycads Safaris to maintain a realistic overhead cost item, which is the secret behind the competitiveness in the company’s pricing structure. 

The Administration  

Cycads safaris Ltd works under the guidance of its Directors who overtime have attained a lot of experience in strategic management of large scale business operations. They also form the back bone shares. They include:

He’s passion has lead him on a varied career path after his safari guiding training in London that exposed him to the needs and expectation of overseas visitors. One of Bosco’s strengths is driving in the nature’s wilderness areas from walking safari trails to extreme mountain hikes with a goal of revealing Africa’s stunning beauty to tourists as they reconnect with the natural frequencies of the African wild.

    Mukasa Jimmy

    Jimmy started guiding way before he got any professional safari guiding training. His passion for wildlife and dream of sharing it with others forced Jimmy to attain safari guiding training and there after joined the Uganda Safari Guides Association. Having Jimmy as your guide will keep you with a smile with his informative talks; you never get to feel lonely or even bored on your holiday with Cycads Safaris.

    The guide to all ardent birders, who will expose you to the spectacular bird havens of East Africa. Expect to discover the rare bird rarities that can only be spotted within the Albertine rift valley region.
